Our trajectory is based on research and innovation focused on corn for the subsequent development of food products.
Within the niche of non-genetically modified materials (NON-GMO), corn plays a prominent role by focusing on preserving its purity and authenticity. In this context, traceability emerges as a fundamental pillar to guarantee the quality and genuineness of corn specialties, from the seed to the consumer's plate.
In Argentina, 7 million hectares of corn are planted, of which 95% are genetically modified corn. Therefore, Rusticana has germplasm adapted to each area of the country, with technology to provide tolerance to different herbicides and protection against insects.
We have facilities and trained personnel to introduce transgenic events into any corn germplasm.
